Energy Systems Group is searching for a Project Procurement Manager to join our Federal team, located in Eagan Minnesota. You will initially be training in the office in Eagan Minnesota, then have the ability to work remotely. Travel for this role will be approximate 10% to our construction sites.

As a Project Procurement Manager, you will support our engineers, project and construction managers by negotiating, sourcing and developing high quality supplier networks. You will evaluate the risk, perform cost/market analysis, work with accounts payable to ensure the execution of work against invoices. You will report directly to the Director of Business Services.

Qualifications

Your background includes:

  • A background in Supply Chain/Procurement
  • Prior work with a construction company
  • Previous experience issuing and reviewing RFP's
  • Drafting and Issuing Subcontracts and Purchase Orders
  • Drafting Change Orders
  • Critical reviews of complex contracts
  • Experience with Skype, Zoom or other virtual meeting platforms
  • Extensive experience with MS Office Products

A bonus to have:

  • BA/BS in Business or Technical Field
  • Project Management, Project Engineer or Project Coordinator Experience
  • Prior experience with an Energy Performance Contracting company
  • Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR) Experience
  • Procore Software Experience
