STARTING WAGE: $14.00 PER HOUR

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintains and cleans guest common areas (guest room hallways, carpets, landings, vending areas, elevators and fitness rooms). This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and carpet cleaning as needed.
* Removes trash from trash receptacles in guest common areas as well as in back of house areas.
* Refills and restocks linen closets with guest supplies such as toilet paper, facial tissue, soap, shampoo, etc.
* Delivers, returns, cleans guest refrigerators/roll-aways and records inventory.
* Retrieves and delivers guest takeout orders from food and beverage outlets as needed.
* Completes pet checks upon front desk request.
* Processes guest room attendant and guest room inspector supply requests in timely manner.
* Cleans and organizes housekeeping office and all linen closets and other storage areas.
* Maintains cleaning supplies and prepares chemicals bottles and cleaning rags for guest room attendants.
* Notifies room inspectors/ supervisor of damaged or missing inventory or areas requiring work orders from the Facility Department May assists guest room attendants or laundry when staffing levels require or after normal housekeeping hours
* Monitors supply inventory and provides ordering lists as needed.
* Maintains vacuum cleaner inventory and initiates work orders for floor equipment when needed.
* Processes linen in the Laundry when all other tasks are completed (does not include use of the ironer).
* May perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and three to six months of similar experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None needed.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write legibly simple correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to use Windows software for ADP and Casino Essentials.
