Description

Under the direction of the Vice President of Leasing, the Lease Sales Executive is responsible for sale of full service truck leasing and rental in a specified territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning and achieving sales objectives in the territory.

  • Oversee handling key accounts.

  • Establish new account base through effective prospecting and cold calls.

  • Maintain and grow established accounts within territory.

  • Service and manage all aspects of customer and dealer relationships.

  • Establish equipment needs and specifications for customer applications.

  • Identify product requirements and competitive conditions within each local market.

  • Develop individualized market development strategies to maximize profitable dealership and customer penetration.

  • Work with the Marketing Team to market branches, grow business and obtain more customers.

  • Meet with customers to resolve and assist in resolving their questions regarding service.

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of truck leasing, truck rental or heavy duty equipment sales experience required.

  • Ability to modify communication style to negotiate and communicate with a variety of customers - internally and externally. Excellent negotiating skills.

  • Disciplined, with good organizational and time management skills.

  • Marketing and collection experience desirable.

  • Ability to interact effectively with highly challenging dealers.

  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, focused on follow through and closing deals.

  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office preferred.

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred.

  • Dependable and reliable attendance required.
