POSITION: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - PLASTIC EXTRUSION MANUFACTURING JOB TYPE: Full Time SCHEDULE: 12 Hour Shifts- 48/60 rotation 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM or 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM LOCATION: 1618 Lynch Rd Evansville, IN 47711 JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on our company products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. Position requires a good eye for detail and a strong working knowledge of mathematical concepts, excellent visual awareness, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A top class quality technician can efficiently monitor the integrity and quality of products without impeding production rates. * Developing and maintaining inspection reports * Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards * Ensuring goods and products comply with company standards as well as Federal and State Law * Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly * Reporting quality issues to the supervisor * Collating test data and drafting quality reports * Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes * Ensuring production is not hindered by quality testing procedures * Performs other duties as assigned * Great communication with management and peers REQUIREMENTS: * High School Education/GED equivalent * Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing production environment * Dependable to maintain good attendance and punctuality * Team Player with a Positive Attitude
