Job Summary:

As a Senior Engineer on the Instruments Software team you will design, develop, and implement applications for our next generation handheld patient monitoring devices. You will develop the user interface working closely with our UX designers to develop the backend framework for our devices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop UI frameworks for the interface of our medical devices.
• Work closely with our UX designers to develop the backend framework.
• Design, Implementation and Maintenance of Software.
• Software Documentation.
• Software Specification and Testing.

Requirements:

• 5-7+ years of C++ software development experience.
• Experience with graphical user interface (GUI) design & development.
• Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with software configuration management.
• Strong knowledge of operating system concepts (scheduling, memory management, multi-threading).
• Ability to excel in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Ability to work onsite Monday - Friday in Irvine, CA.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Qt Graphic Framework.
• Computer Graphics library (OpenGL, DirectX, etc.)
• Mobile application development.
• Scripting languages (JavaScript, etc.)

Compensation: The anticipated range for this position is $110,000 to $149,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.
