Job Title: 1560 FT Project Manager - Jasper, IN, Evansville, IN, Owensboro, KY

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage the organization of key strategic projects. In this role, you will leverage your previous project coordination success to organize people and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and produce desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project's organization and timeline including developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and managing project budget while also identifying decision-points and collaborating with the appropriate stakeholders to drive the necessary decisions to keep projects on time and within scope. Using your excellent communication skills, you will engage key stakeholders and foster third party vendor relationships throughout the project life cycle. You will leverage your ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities, as well as evaluate project success and gather recommended process improvements to share with leadership.

This is an exciting role that allows you to learn key processes and technology systems in all areas of German American Bank while positively impact project success and employee morale. This independent role requires excellent communication, organization, coaching, coordination and documentation skills. A strong candidate has proven project coordination experience, has three plus years' work experience, banking knowledge, is a great communicator and fosters team collaboration.

Travel Required:

Travel within the German American footprint to work with project teams is required, as well as travel for conferences and other activities as needed. Travel will be up to 50% depending on your location in the German American footprint.

What You'll Do:
Your Daily Experience - A Project Manager is highly competent at project coordination and uses communication, organization and relationship management skills. This position is responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within budget and with an improved customer experience, both internal and external. You will develop project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility as well as developing a detailed project plan to track progress and ensure resource availability and allocation. You will use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs. This role measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques. You will report and escalate risks and issues to leadership to ensure risk management. You will manage the relationship with third party vendors and all stakeholders by creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, communications, and coordination of internal resources for the successful execution of projects.

What it Takes:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, Finance or Engineering
  • Experience in: Project management knowledge and experience required, PMP certification preferred
  • Skills in: excellent internal and third party vendor communication skills, team player, problem solving, and change management. Effective prioritization skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Solid organizational skills with great attention to detail and follow up. Budget and expense management experience. Strong use of Microsoft Office and Sharepoint.
  • Ability to: communicate well to all levels, assist with change management, provide direction and feedback, manage budgets and timelines, establish detailed project plans, report risks and ensure mitigation, document and manage using project management systems, hold team members and third party vendors accountable, write and present project updates, coordinate resources and schedules to achieve project timeline and outcomes.
