This role will manage daily maintenance activities to support printing and extrusion production departments, plan and assign work, enforce policy and procedures, drive root cause analysis activities, recommend improvements in production methods, and participate in continuous improvement team activities. The Maintenance Supervisor will also manage environmental regulatory, issues and concerns for the plant.We have been driving innovation since 1976.   • Balances quality, productivity, safety and food safety to achieve positive results in all areas
  • Ensures effective employee relations
  • Resolves employee issues through problem resolution
  • Provides coaching and counseling to maintenance team members
  • Provides support to operations to increase machine uptime and productivity throughout the plant
  • Drives continuous improvement activities
  • Ensures compliance of environmental regulatory issues
  • Provides daily work assignments to maintenance team members
  • Conducts performance reviews on all maintenance team members
  • Enforces all plant policies and procedures
  • Enforces all plant and department safety rules
  • Manages department performance and report result as directed by facility manager
  • Manages daily goal setting to achieve maximum machine uptime and productivity
  • Audits quality, safety, and environmental housekeeping procedures
  • Monitors department performance and ensures barriers are identified and actions assigned
  • Manages training and continuous education to ensure proper skill level throughout the maintenance department
  • Manages and ensures compliance of environmental regulator concerns
  • Maintain a key spares program to minimize the impact of issues with key machines
  • Coordinates shipping and receiving of solvent shipments with Environmental Coordinator
  • Handles hazardous waste.
  • Prepares and transports hazardous waste to 90 day storage area.
  • Signs hazardous waste manifest.

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience
  • 4 year technical degree (mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering) OR journey man skilled trade certification
